Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I'm really surprised to see how low the rating is for this restaurant. We were made to feel so welcome, the service was really friendly and very quick and the food was amazing. I paid €23 for a butterflied fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, rice and chips and it melted in the mouth. We had tapas there on a separate visit to the rooftop terrace and the portions were huge and very tasty. We would definitely go back again."
"Lots to choose from on the menu. Waiter super helpful. No white wine by the glass only Rioja so had that. Had the seafood platter (€48 for 2 people) and a side of sautéed veg (€4.80). Mostly consisted of sardines with a few pieces of white fish and some squid rings, 2 large king prawns and some lettuce. Overall alright, glad we tried the Seafood platter but not sure its worth it."
"We honestly don’t know why the revues are that low. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and in general the service was very quick. Within 10 minutes of sitting we already had our drinks. The rooftop was amazing to enjoy our food while watching the ocean and the sunset. The food itself was amazing, from the starters to the desert."
"Great Lunch with a Beautiful Sea View We had lunch at this restaurant and really enjoyed the experience. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful view over the beach and the sea, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. There was a good variety of dishes available, and everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. It’s a great spot for a casual, quality meal with a view. The only downside was that all the dishes were brought out at the same time, which made it a bit difficult to enjoy them one by one. A more paced service would have made the experience even better. Still, we had a very pleasant lunch overall, and we’d be happy to return!"
"I never regret eating here ,every time I visit, I try a new dish and it’s always amazing. Even the cocktails were incredible! Definitely the best restaurant on Playa. I highly recommend everyone to try it."
"We ate here and I can say this is a very nice and cosy restaurant on the beach in Las Palmas. The prices are okay one main dish or a pizza is around €15. The look is awsome from the rooftop, the staff is friendly, the meal is great and delicious."
"Cold beers, beautifull views, very good steak, done to perfection. The Garlic bread with pepper infused Olive Oil was also special"
"La Casa Roja was not in our plans at first because from outside it looks like a very expensive restaurant. But when we walked along the promenade and checked the prices, we saw they were normal, the same as other places in this area. The staff were friendly, the food was good, the prices were fair and the place is nice. I honestly can’t fault anything."
